Le preorder est leur meilleur moyen d'aider un label à finaliser la sortie d'un disque. C'est pourquoi dans la scène DIY internationale on fait souvent appel à la précommande. Il faut parfois en profiter, vu que les disques sortent en nombre de plus en plus limité, et parfois ces précommandes s'accompagnent de cadeaux ou d'offres spéciales. Mais pas toujours...
Soit, le but du post ici est de parler des deux prochaines sorties de chez Release The Bats Records, label norvégien.

Long anticipated vinyl version of Tsukimonos grandiose Time Canvas, originally released as a limited CDR on Kning Disk spring 2007. A true gem when it comes to drone-based music, this recording still stands out as Tsukimonos finest moment. Each track is based on a sample on one specific instrument. Slow and quiet and big and brutal at the same time. Incredible beauty indeed. The deluxe 2xLP version also comes with a side-long bonus track recorded in 2008. Letterpressed white silver ink on black cardboard sleeves, vinyl in black sleeves and labels on black with silver ink as well. Also comes with liner notes by Matthias Andersson (RTB Records), PM Jönsson (Sound Of Music/Sonic), Gustav Rosengren (Kalligrammofon) and musician Viktor Sjöberg. Limited to 525 copies.

Heavy Winged began in the fall of 2004 in Brooklyn, New York. The three members (Jed Bindeman, Ryan Hebert and Brady Sansone) had all gone to college together and afterwards found themselves living in the same neighborhood in Brooklyn. Ryan and Jed had previously played together in the band Ivo Shandor, and the idea to jam with brady had been discussed for awhile before it actually happened. originally they tried to compose songs, but quickly realized that the sprawling improvised sessions they were having sounded much better than the compositions they were working on. The band made sure to record every jam session in full, direct to Ryan's half-broken 4 track cassette recorder. The band performed live only one time before Jed announced that he was moving across the country to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2006. At this time the band was no longer able to record as fervently as before, but the archival releases continued to trickle out, with label and press interest only growing with time. Ryan decided to move back home to Windsor, Vermont in 2007, splitting the band between three states. Despite this, Heavy Winged comes together twice a year to embark on short tours and record new material along the way.
