''Dear friends,
We are very sorry to announce that our 7 year journey has come to an end.
A journey that brought us from the tiniest metal head 'sheds' to stages like 'de Melkweg', through Belgium/Italy/Austria/Germany and at our favorite festival of all time (Roadburn). And a journey which ofcourse resulted in the Seaquake EP (2011), Ananta LP (2014)
and a whole bunch of unreleased songs..
We had such a great time, but due to several reasons we have to conclude that this trip is over..
We met many cool people on the way. Thank you all for or either supporting, booking, helping, reviewing or 'beerfeeding' us! In particular we would like to thank our former booker: the recently and way too young deceased Bidi (R.I.P.). He was so much more than a booker and organisor, he breathed rock 'n roll. May your soul rock on!
It is not excluded that you will hear from individual Yama members in new projects in the future. But for now it is -unfortunately- only this message we can bring you.
There will be a goodbye show in early january in our hometown Tilburg. We'll keep you posted on that!
Thanks a lot and stay 'Schtevig'!
Alex, Greg, Peter & Sjoerd
(Thanks as well to our former members, and friends Joep, Harm-Pieter, Elmer & Tim)''
