''It is with a heavy heart that after 10 years in A Place To Bury Strangers I announce my departure. Friday’s show at the Bowery Ballroom will be my last NY appearance with the band. Firstly, I would like to thank my wife. Words cannot express the thankfulness and gratitude I feel for having her in my life. I would like to thank all the booking agents, the labels, the PR people and all the gear hire peeps I have worked with past and present. Thank you! I would also like to thank all the amazing crew people and fellow band mates I formed a special life long bond with. I love you all deeply...and of course this is nothing without the fans that came to all the shows and supported our music. Thank you, thank you, thank you all so very much. And lastly I would like to thank Oliver. Thank you for opening up the band to me. Writing all those songs and touring the planet together changed our lives as well as many others. It was intense and it was real. Just the way we like it. I will see you all very soon in another shape or form. My last show with @aptbs will be April 17th at Desert Daze Re-Union in CA.''
